LaShonda's Bio
LaShonda Oates Milsap has acted on her love for writing to help and motivate others in hopes of fulfilling her dream. She is a mother, daughter, sister, psychotherapist, co-author, social worker, radio show host and she finds each role to be greatly rewarding in their own unique way. LaShonda is an innovative thinker and uses her experiences to advocate and motivate others. Her aspiration is to utilize her gifts/talents to touch others’ lives and reach their potential to bless the lives of others.
A graduate of Fayetteville State University. LaShonda earned her BS degree in Criminal Justice and later earned her Masers in Social Work from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. When she is not writing or counseling she enjoys: hiking, traveling, spending time at the beach, with family, and attending sporting events. She regularly attends John Wesley United Methodist and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. LaShonda has four sons, Cameran, Mitchell, Derrick , and Steven.
